Exam Details
To obtain the Scrum PSM I certification, the candidates are required to pass a single exam. The test is made up of 80 questions that are presented in several formats, including multiple choice, multiple answer, and true/false options. The students are given 60 minutes of allocated duration to complete all the questions. As the exam duration is limited, you need to use your time wisely to answer as many questions as possible within the given timeframe. Try not to linger on one question for too long. If one causes difficulty, just skip it and move on to another item. You can return to difficult questions at the end of the test if time permits.
The PSM I exam is available in the English language only. To succeed in the test, the applicants are required to give no less than 85% of correct answers. The registration process for the certification exam is made through the official website after paying an entry fee of $150. Once you pay this sum, you will receive an assessment password to your e-mail within one business day. This password has no expiration date but is valid for one attempt only. You are not required to attend a testing center and can take your exam online from the comfort of your own home.
After passing this Scrum exam, you will be awarded the industry recognized certificate as well as the PSM I logo that you can add to your social network profile to highlight your achievement. Just like other professional-level certifications, Scrum PSM I is valid for a lifetime and does not require any renewal.
